US primary propane stocks stood at **99.8 million barrels** as of July 17, according to the EIA Weekly Petroleum Status Report, giving domestic supply a coverage ratio of **159 days** against the trailing four-week average of product supplied. PADD 3, the Gulf Coast, drove the week's build with a 10% gain to **64.7 million barrels**, 31% above the 5-year median.

- **PADD 2 (Midwest) propane imports** hit 0.050 million b/d, up 163.2% week over week, and 56% above the 5-yr median (EIA WPSR).
- **US propane imports** rose 40.5% on the week to 0.104 million b/d, 13% above the 5-yr median (EIA WPSR).
- **US propane demand (product supplied)** ran at 0.526 million b/d, down 7% on the week and 44% below the 5-yr median (EIA WPSR).
- **PADD 1 (East Coast) propane production** reached 0.304 million b/d, 24% above the 5-yr median (EIA WPSR).
- **PADD 1B (Central Atlantic) propane stocks** fell 6% on the week to 5.1 million barrels, still 24% above the 5-yr median (EIA WPSR).
- **Mont Belvieu propane spot** edged up 0.7% on the week to **$0.726/gal**, 6% below the 5-yr median (EIA).

PADD 1A (New England) stocks are the only tracked regional position below normal, 4% under the 5-yr median at 0.4 million barrels. EIA's Short-Term Energy Outlook projects US propane/propylene inventories at 98.5 million barrels at the end of December 2026.
