## About PADD 1C (Lower Atlantic) propane stocks

South of the Central Atlantic, the Lower Atlantic covers Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas, Virginia and West Virginia, the southernmost of the three East Coast storage areas this site tracks. Pipeline capacity built to run from the Gulf Coast into the Southeast reaches this region, supplemented by coastal import terminals along the Florida and Georgia shoreline, giving the Lower Atlantic a more direct tie to Gulf Coast supply than New England has. Winters here are milder than the rest of the East Coast, so the seasonal draw is typically shallower, though stocks still build through the summer and draw down through the colder months on the same calendar as the rest of the country. Its five-year band measures this region's own cushion against its own history, not against the colder sub-regions to its north.
